Trauma cleaning
A serious accident, a medical emergency or a suicide leaves blood and bodily fluids that are a genuine infection risk. Clearing them safely is trauma cleaning, and it is what we do.
Trauma cleaning covers the aftermath of any incident where blood or bodily fluids are left behind, in a home, a business, a vehicle or a public space. It is not a job for a mop and a bottle of bleach. The risk is real, and so is the emotional weight of it, which is why most people bring in someone who does this every day rather than face it themselves.
We cover Rochdale and Greater Manchester, day and night, and we work quietly and without judgement.
Why trauma cleaning is a specialist job
Blood carries blood-borne viruses that survive on surfaces for days, and fluids travel further than the eye can see, under skirting, into grout lines and down between floorboards. Cleaning the visible mess leaves the hidden contamination behind. Our technicians are trained to find the full extent, decontaminate it to a safe standard and confirm the area is genuinely clean before they leave.
How we approach it
We arrive in full protective equipment and unmarked vehicles. We contain the area first so nothing spreads, then remove contaminated material and disinfect with the correct agents for the surface and the risk. Soft furnishings, carpet or sections of floor that cannot be brought back to a safe state are removed and replaced rather than salvaged for the sake of it.
Throughout, we keep you informed and we keep it discreet. On a shared landing or in a busy workplace, that discretion matters as much as the cleaning.
Insurance, waste and paperwork
All biohazard material leaves the site as clinical waste through a licensed carrier, with the consignment paperwork completed. We are fully insured and work to HSE and Environment Agency requirements. Where the incident is covered by insurance, and many are, we provide a written report and costs for the claim and can deal with the insurer for you.

Trauma cleaning: your questions
If your question is not here, request a callback and we will talk it through, calmly.
Request a callbackIs it safe to clean blood myself?
We would not advise it. Blood can carry hepatitis and other viruses that stay infectious on surfaces, and household cleaning leaves hidden contamination behind. Trained technicians with the right protection and disinfectants make the area properly safe.
Do you cover businesses and vehicles as well as homes?
Yes. We handle trauma cleaning in homes, workplaces, communal buildings and vehicles across Rochdale and Greater Manchester, and we understand a business needs to reopen quickly and quietly.
Will anyone know you have been?
No. We use unmarked vans and keep the work confidential. Nothing about a job is shared with anyone.
